The Hogs and Heroes Foundation Delivers Grocery List of Goods to the Branchville Volunteer Fire Depa
The Hogs and Heroes Foundation takes pride in being good citizens and we take the precautions for Social Distancing very seriously. Luckily many of our members are First Responders and understand how to keep those we serve and ourselves protected.
Last week the Hogs and Heroes Foundation reached out to the Branchville Volunteer Fire Department to see if there was anything they needed. Instead of asking for a meal delivery they requested grocery items that they could then use to feed themselves for days rather than a specific one time meal. We were more than happy to oblige.
Hogs and Heroes National Vice President Lee "Scribe" Scribner and his wife Hogs and Heroes Auxiliary Vice President Beth "Curly" Scribner dropped of the requested grocery items and also was able to provide the surprise of arranging free food from Mission BBQ for the Volunteer Crew of Branchville VFD.
We would like to thank George who is the manager at Mission BBQ for their generous donation and we would like to thank the supporters of the Hogs and Heroes Foundation for raising the funds to allow us to continue to serve those who fall within our mission.
