Due to the ongoing global health crisis, the Military Bowl presented by Perspecta Inc. is putting a new twist on its ever-popular Military Bowl Parade.
The Parade has become an Annapolis holiday tradition, with thousands of fans lining the streets of historic downtown on gameday morning as musical groups, civic organizations, military-themed groups and youth clubs walk the parade route to Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. That is not possible this year as local restrictions prohibit events with large groups and we all do our part to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Instead, the Military Bowl will take this year’s parade to a virtual platform!
The Bowl will assemble participant videos into this year’s parade, premiering online via various social media platforms on Sunday, December 27, the day before the 2020 Military Bowl. After the premier, the parade also will be available to watch on the Military Bowl’s YouTube page (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCeyk8tNLJcH5KT4MvMh6N0Q).
